AIDAN ARMITAGE
REMOTE PITCHING TRAINER
“My coaching philosophy blends biomechanics, personal experience, and a commitment to hard work. With a bachelor’s in Kinesiology and a Master’s in Biomechanics (in progress), I take a science-based approach to pitching development, helping athletes refine mechanics and maximize performance.
Largely self-coached, I’ve faced the yips, lost confidence, and battled an elbow injury—yet I’m still competing. That resilience shapes how I coach. I push pitchers to work consistently and think critically about their craft.
My goal is to not solely enhance velocity, stuff, and command, but to deepen your understanding of the game, allowing you to develop into a well-rounded athlete and pitcher.
I’m confident I can help you take the next step in your career.”

Testimonials
“During my time with coach Aidan, (one full season/off-season), I made significant progress with my mound velo, increasing 8 mph from 73-81. We worked on targeting my arm slot, arm speed, a plyo routine, and delivery mechanics. Aidan made the usually difficult process easy to comprehend and adapt to, helping me learn more about pitching as a whole. After my velo journey, I was able to see large improvements on all aspects of pitching, in addition to my velo jump. Overall my time spent with Aidan was super supportive and encouraging, helping me become a better pitcher and player.”
Cole Campbell (Catcher/Pitcher)
“Working with Aidan was great! He definitely knows his stuff and [it’s] hard to find guys with a better grasp of the biomechanical side of pitching. Great investment to make to grow your game and take it to the next level!”
Mihir Manerikar (Pitcher, D’Youville University)
“I had the opportunity to work with Aidan, both in person and remotely, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. Aidan’s professionalism and preparation were evident from the start. Whether in person or remote, he always communicated clearly, making sure I understood what I needed to work on and why it was important for my development.
Aidan built me a personalized lifting, throwing, and mobility program that was tailored to my specific goals, and he made adjustments as I progressed to ensure I was constantly challenged. His ability to assess my progress and make the right adjustments at the right time was invaluable. With his guidance, I was able to make significant strides in my performance and enhance my composure and execution on the mound.”

“My name is Blaine McRae, I am a 5th year at University of Saint Francis. I have played in both the Ohio Valley League and the Northwoods league for summer ball, and am a 3 year starter/high leverage reliever. Throughout my entire college career I have consistently sought out Aidan’s advice as a pitching coach and mentor, from pitch design, to mechanics, to lifting, to mobility, and everything in between. He has been an extremely valuable asset in my development as a pitcher. Aidan is one of the most knowledgeable baseball minds I have ever been around, and his understanding of both throwing AND pitching will help an arm of any age. I’ve seen his programming, I’ve seen him coach others, and I’ve benefitted from his help myself. Literally anyone can trust Aidan to make them better.”

"Working with Aidan over the offseason has been a tremendous help in my preparedness for the upcoming season - I've been able to see tangible results through our offseason training in the form of a velo bump, pitch development, and generally feeling in much better shape as a result of our programming & progressions. I haven't felt this good going into a season in years and I hope to carry this momentum onto the field"
